Bemana is helping hire for a VP of Sales for an organization that manufactures innovative pedestrian detection system devices for heavy equipment in a variety of industries.
The VP of Sales is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan, building a strong customer sales pipeline, identifying and working with potential OEM’s and direct Enterprise Customer sales.
This role requires extensive national travel. Remote position – can be based anywhere in the USA.
Benefits:
- Pay: $150k – $175k/year base salary.
- Bonus: ~30% incentive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve the Company’s overall sales plan.
- Create a Sales Plan (Budget) and ensure it is approved by Company management.
- Drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Ensure all Sales Opportunities are accurately recorded in the Company’s CRM Platform.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline health, conversion rates, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Provide accurate up to date sales forecasts and reports to management, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Prospect for, build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand and document customer needs and requirements and ensure they are met.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with marketing teams to launch campaigns in each region.
- Relay feedback from customers and the sales team to the product development team.
- Collaborate with other regional leads to share best practices and insights.
Education Requirements/Work Experience:
- Tertiary qualified in a Technology discipline (Preferred Bachelor’s degree but not mandatory) or related field.
- Technical & Industrial Safety Standards Knowledge
- Sales Strategies, Account Management, Product Demonstrations, CRM software
- Exceptional communication.
- Presentation prowess.
- Ability to execute strategic sales strategies, attaining sales milestones, and overseeing sales accounts.
- Exhibit strong negotiation and influence capabilities, with the talent to cultivate and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Proven capacity to thrive within the high-speed currents of a startup setting.
