We are hiring a Senior Pump Mechanic on behalf of a well-established, growth forward client in the electro-mechanical industry. The shop is located just south of Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
- Must be able to disassemble, troubleshoot, and reassemble various types of pumps (submersible, turbine, ANSI & split case).
- Knowledge of tolerances for bearing fit and clearances, motor connections and testing.
- Knowledge of operating lifting equipment such as forklifts, hoists and cranes.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report all unsafe activity.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of pump repair experience.
- Candidate should have practical knowledge of Wastewater & Industrial pumps systems, this includes Submersible Sewage, Vertical Turbine, and centrifugal pumps.
- Computer aptitude.
- Adaptable.
- Self-starter and self-reliant.
- Valid driver’s license
