Bemana is looking for Mechanical/Structural Engineer for a manufacturer of crane systems to design overhead cranes & monorails and their components, as well as structures that support them, while working closely with sales and customers.

Responsibilities
- Perform all mechanical and structural engineering work.
- Develop and draw layout of assembly concept to meet customer specifications.
- Calculate loads and select standard components based on load capacity.
- Produce detailed drawings on computer-aided design system to support customer and manufacturing activities.
- Assist with inventory management and material acquisition related to mechanical and structural equipment.
- Identify root causes and solutions for mechanical and structural problems.
- Develop mechanical and structural systems to meet special project requirements.
- Utilize the ECO system to maintain the library of standard products
- Manage multiple projects at one time.
- Follow established department procedures and company policies.
- Work closely with various departments throughout the company including sales, and manufacturing.
Qualifications
- BSME degree.
- Five to ten years of mechanical/structural engineering experience and an understanding of standard welding/shop fabrication procedures are preferred.
- Calculate stress (Experience running finite element analysis is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Solidworks.
