Bemana is searching for a Director of Product to join the team of a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality standard and custom electric motors, gear reducers, motor controls, generators, and frequency converters.
This position is seeking a high potential and hands-on leader to own, create and refine product-led strategies. Will need to be able to lead the execution of product management, product marketing, and product development for new and existing products.
The Role:
- Utilize analytics to improve product portfolio performance and drive growth strategies while fostering a customer-centric culture by working with cross-functional teams in the company.
- The successful candidate will bring a proven track record as a leader who has successfully developed and managed product lifecycles, created significant enterprise value, is a collaborative leader who energizes high performing teams, and one who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment backed by a private equity sponsor.
- For each of the current and future product lines, lead the creation of a Product Vision for defining and driving the product strategy.
- Develop product forecast and plans for demand and lead generation.
- Lead the development of new product specifications and cost targets to fulfill identified product gaps and needs.
Requirements:
- Experience in product development and product management, including developing product roadmaps and development project management.
- Desired backgrounds can include electrical or mechanical industrial products (i.e., motors, drives, powertrains, power supplies, switches, process control equipment, pulleys, transmissions, or other industrial equipment or solutions).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in successfully creating or upgrading the product leadership functions in an organization of similar size and scope.
- Decisive leader with strong relationship-building skills and capable of balancing tactical and strategic objectives.
