As an HVAC/Climate Solutions Tech (Service Tech I) within the Power/HVAC division, you’ll leverage your skills to perform jobsite installations and handle minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Your responsibilities will include safely operating delivery vehicles, installing HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself, and with the right drive and ambition, you can advance into higher-level Tech roles.
What you’ll do:
- Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment
- Report equipment condition before and after usage
- Demonstrate equipment functionality to customers
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- EPA Universal Certificate
- Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment repair and maintenance preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools applicable to the position
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Willingness to be on a 24/7 “on call” rotation for emergency service
