RCP Motor Mechanic – Entry-Level & Experienced Candidates Welcome!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of vertical motors up to 12,000 HP (13.2kW Voltage).
- Work under the guidance of senior mechanics to troubleshoot and resolve issues such as oil leaks and vibration problems.
- Conduct incoming and outgoing motor test runs.
- Gain experience performing a variety of mechanical tasks as part of your role.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical inclination and a strong desire to learn – previous experience is a plus, but not required!
- Must be able to work with basic hand tools and learn to use M&TE tools (dial indicators, micrometers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, etc.).
- Willingness to complete Radiological Worker Training annually (cost covered by employer).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to work hard.
- Basic forklift, crane, or rigging experience is a plus, but not required.
- Overtime may be required (nights/weekends).
