Bemana is searching for a Project Administrator to join a team that has installed power generation projects across the globe, this is a remote role. Our client aims to electrify Indian Country, provide reliable and affordable alternatives to the big utilities, and promote the use of green technologies.

The Project Administrator will support the VP of Programs in planning, executing, and finalizing various projects in accordance with strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating, ensuring project deliverables meet specifications, and preparing and maintaining necessary project documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts, ability to organize and communicate information effectively, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordination of project activities, resources, equipment, and information to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams and stakeholders, technical departments, and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of project specifications.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and documentation, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time; monitor project progress and performance against established timelines and milestones, implementing adjustments as necessary.
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring project progress and performance and report any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project file documentation, including tracking system updates and technical procedures, to ensure accountability and ease of access of information.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, documenting meetings minutes, maintaining project files, and managing project-related paperwork.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in power generation, distributed generation, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Experience working with state and/or federal grand-funded projects.
  • Experience in Renewable-powered Microgrid Energy projects is preferred.
  • Experience with certified payroll is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management software/methodologies and tools, such as MS Project or Trello.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
